Leo Appel, 86, of Enfield died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
He was a life-time farmer and a member of White County Farm Bureau and Enfield United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Marguerite; a son, Gary of Enfield; a stepdaughter, Nina Haskins of Evansville; a stepson, Larry Rhoads of Mount Vernon, Ind.; a sister, Rose Appel of Enfield; three grandchildren, Marla, Megan and Jarrod Appel; four stepgrandchildren, Holly, David Mary and Susan; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2001 at Enfield Methodist Church. Burial was in Enfield Cemetery.
