Lena Beatrice "Bea" Smith, 94, of McLeansboro died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at McLeansboro Healthcare Center.

She was born on February 13, 1907, in McLeansboro to Walter Hunt and Della (Prather) Hunt.

She was a retail store manager. She was Protestant.

Surviving are a niece and nephew.

Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2001 at Harre Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Sefreid officiated. Burial was in Ten Mile Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Madelyn Echols; and two brothers, Otha and Clyde Hunt.

Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2001 at Enfield Methodist Church. Burial was in Enfield Cemetery.
