Marjorie J. Biggerstaff, 74, of Route #2, McLeansboro died at 9:50 p.m. on September 6, 2001, in High Ridge, Missouri.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Biggerstaff was born on March 2, 1927, in Bonne Terre, Missouri t Leonard and Louise (Lore) House. She married Woodrow Biggerstaff on December 23, 1944; he is deceased.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2001 at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. The Rev. Robert Sefried officiated. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, near McLeansboro.
She is survived by four sons, Woodrow "Bud" Biggerstaff of McLeansboro, Donald Biggerstaff of Foley, Missouri, Leonard and wife Evelyn Biggerstaff of Newborn, Missouri, and David and wife Shirley Biggerstaff of Lemay, Missouri; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Rose and husband Steve Wolz of High Ridge, Missouri, and Susie Nelson of McLeansboro, one brother Norman "Skip" House of Imperial, Missouri; two sisters, Evelyn Moak of Bonne Terre, Missouri, and Clara Elders of Bonnie Terre, Missouri.
Mrs. Biggerstaff was a lifetime member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Johnny Biggerstaff, one sister, Polly Sikes, and one infant brother Leonard Paul House, and one brother Stanford House.
