Ruth N. Boner

Ruth N. Boner, 94, of McLeansboro died Thursday, May 10, 2001, at Hamilton Memorial Nursing Center.

She was born on December 5, 1906, in Fayette County, Missouri, to Fred and Lucy Ann (Harrawood) Clevenger. She married Raph Boner; he preceded her in death.

She was a member of First Christian Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Shirley and Ida Fay, both of McLeansboro; two sisters, Ida Fann and Iva Allen, both of McLeansboro; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Ralph, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Alveida; a brother, Russell Clevenger; a sister, Lillian Miller, and a grandchild.

Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2001 at Gholson Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Sefried and Rev. William Shelton officiated. Burial was in Digby Cemetery near Dale.
