Sylvester N. "Wes" Miller
Born October 3, 1918 - Died February 3, 2001

Sylvester N. Miller, 82, of McLeansboro, died at 5:10 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2001, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

He was born on October 3, 1918 in Hamilton County, the son of Otto and Louise (Anselment) Miller. He married Marcella Karcher on November 27, 1947 and she survives.

Funeral service were at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2001, at St. Clements Catholic Church in McLeansboro. The Rev. Joseph Lawler officiated. Burial was in St. Clements Cemetery in McLeansboro.

He is survived by his wife, Marcella Miller, two daughters, a daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Dr. Stephen W. Miller, two brothers and one sister.
